Narendra Modi Stadium (Motera Cricket Stadium):

Narendra Modi Stadium, formerly named The Motera Stadium or Sardar Patel Stadium,

is Gujarat Cricket Association’s most important cricket stadium in Ahmedabad. It can accommodate 132.000 people.

It was constructed within nine months by Shashi Prabhu and Associates.

Naya Raipur International Cricket Stadium, also known as The Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium, is located within Naya Raipur, Chhattisgarh. It is the fourth biggest cricket stadium worldwide and India’s third-largest Stadium for Cricket, with 65,000 seats. Veer Narayan Singh Binjhwar was an owner from Sonakham who gave the Stadium its name as he was spearheaded by the Indian Independence war in 1857 in Chhattisgarh.

The Brabourne stadium has been operated by the Cricket Club of India (CCI), the headquarters of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) up to 2006.

The Stadium also held the World Cup cricket trophy in 1983. The award was later removed.

BCCI and the prize were moved to the city’s centre, close to the Wankhade Stadium.
